How Does the SiPhox At-Home Blood Test Work?

How Does SiPhox Work? EasyDraw Collection, Lab Processing, and Results

SiPhox Health uses EasyDraw — a painless arm collection device that draws blood from the upper arm, not a finger-prick. The full process takes 5 minutes at home: order a kit, collect your sample with 1:1 live support, and drop it off same-day at FedEx. Samples are processed at a CLIA-certified, CAP-accredited laboratory and results are delivered in 3-5 business days through a personalized dashboard. SiPhox offers five testing panels covering up to 60 biomarkers across cardiovascular, metabolic, hormonal, thyroid, and nutritional health.

What Is EasyDraw and How Is It Different From a Finger-Prick?

EasyDraw is SiPhox's proprietary arm collection device — it draws a small blood sample from the outside of the upper arm, approximately 10 fingers below the shoulder.

EasyDraw does not use needles or require a finger-prick. The collection process takes approximately 5 minutes and includes 1:1 live support to guide the user through each step.

SiPhox's arm collection method produces higher-quality samples than capillary finger-stick devices. Finger-prick collection risks contamination from interstitial fluid, which can affect biomarker accuracy. EasyDraw's arm-based approach avoids this issue.

SiPhox's EasyDraw instructions detail the full preparation process: hydrate with 16 oz of water 20-60 minutes before collection, warm the arm with the included heat pack for 4 minutes, and use the guided device placement.

SiPhox provides all collection supplies in the kit — EasyDraw devices, collection tubes, heat pack, alcohol pads, gauze, bandaids, and a prepaid FedEx shipping mailer.

What Happens After You Ship Your Sample?

SiPhox samples must be dropped off at a physical FedEx location on the collection day before 4:00 PM local time. Same-day shipping maintains sample integrity for time-sensitive biomarkers.

SiPhox samples are processed at a CLIA-certified, CAP-accredited laboratory — the same accreditation standards used by Quest Diagnostics and LabCorp.

SiPhox results are delivered in 3-5 business days through the SiPhox dashboard. Results include detailed analysis, supplement recommendations, and a personalized action plan.

SiPhox members can track biomarker changes over time — each test adds to a longitudinal trend view showing how markers move between tests.

SiPhox members also have access to Sai, SiPhox's health AI assistant, and can schedule one-on-one consultations with health consultants for personalized guidance.

For details on which biomarkers each panel tests, see our page on SiPhox biomarker panels.

Limitations and Considerations

  • Samples must be mailed promptly. SiPhox samples must reach FedEx on the collection day before 4:00 PM. Delayed shipping can affect results for time-sensitive biomarkers.
  • Results are for wellness monitoring, not diagnosis. SiPhox is designed for longitudinal biomarker tracking and health optimization. Abnormal results should be discussed with a healthcare provider for clinical interpretation.
  • Conflict of interest disclosure. This page is published by SiPhox Health.
